Grassroots Typewriter Font

Introducing Grassroots, a classic typewriter serif. This font was inspired by a 1950’s Royal Quiet De Luxe Typewriter, and features textured letters & symbols, creating a realistic look & feel without needing to source your own antique machine! (Or spend an arm & a leg in the process!)

Each keystroke on an old typewriter shows variations based on the ink ribbon & how hard or soft the typebars strike the ribbon & paper. This font was designed to provide multiple options for each letter so that you can further customize the look & feel of your text. Choose from lightly textured letters, all the way to grimy, inky letter variations! This font also includes double letter ligatures for all capital & lowercase letters to provide a more realistic experience when hitting the same letter key twice in rapid succession.

Grassroots mixes antique, vintage charm with modern, robust OpenType features. The result is an incredibly versatile font with options galore, which can be used for a variety of projects ranging from replicating a classic, old school look & feel, all the way to a modern, trendy, hip aesthetic.
